Tour winners - Anneke Kestelijn

Belgian Tour winners in the Center Tour of Flanders

In 2016 Anneke Kestelijn all Belgian Tour winners on a portrait as a thesis of her photography education. What started as a hobby has gotten seriously out of hand. With the support of the City of Ronse, she has now also received all the foreign Tour winners that are still alive. She especially wanted to portray the person behind the cyclist and it was the riders themselves who convinced her to continue.

Normally, the full portrait series under the name 'Expo Rondewinnaars' would have taken place in April in the De Ververij cultural center in Ronse. As a foretaste of the 'Expo Tour winners', which will be moved to 17 October, Anneke will exhibit the series of Belgian Tour winners in the Tour of Flanders Center. Various iconic cycling figures are featured: the late Roger Decock, Kannibaal Eddy Merckx, the three-time winners Museeuw and Boonen and many others.

The exhibition 'Belgian Tour Winners' will run until February 2021. The full portrait series and book presentation will take place in October 2020 in Ronse.

sluiting Peloton Café

Hello dear friends of the Tour of Flanders Center and the Peloton Café

To prevent the further spread of the corona virus, both the Center Tour of Flanders and the Peloton Café at least closed until April 3rd. The employees of the Tour of Flanders Center and the Peloton Café can be reached via their personal e-mail address. It is possible that the e-mails will be answered with some delay and that telephone accessibility is far from optimal during this period. Orders for the webshop are processed on a weekly basis. For urgent matters you can contact

Cancellation of Flanders' Most Beautiful

We also inform you that the Tour of Flanders (April 5) has been canceled. We fully agree that the sense of responsibility and human health prevail at this time. Let us all be wise in the coming period and sacrifice some of our freedom for our fellow humans. We can literally save lives with it.

Keep cycling, but certainly not in a group

We certainly do not advise against cycling, on the contrary. However, we cannot say enough that group rides are really not okay and that you should cycle individually. For more information, we refer you to the FAQ of Cycling Vlaanderen.

We thank you for your understanding in these exceptional circumstances. Be sensible and take good care of each other.

With sporty greetings

The entire peloton of the Tour of Flanders Center and the Peloton Café

Zwift final de Ronde

Zwift final “De Ronde”

On Sunday February 16 Zwift is organizing a major E-cycling event in the Tour of Flanders Center (Oudenaarde). E-cycling and E-sports in general is on the rise, Zwift reached an agreement with the UCI at the World Championship in Harrogate to organize a LIVE and official world championship indoor cycling in 2020 for the first time in history, in other words in in the autumn of this year we will also know the world champion on Zwift after the various world champions on the road. Zwift organized such an event together with British Cycling as a test case and preparations for a possible World Cup and now the time has come!

Zwift final “De Ronde” in the Center Tour of Flanders

De Ronde is entering its 4th edition, but will undergo a true metamorphosis for 2020, the previous 3 editions were already very successful, but especially for the participants. The venue was full of character, but cold to spectators and there were no facilities either. This year we take a completely different approach to give a good insight into what you can / can expect from a World Cup (which Brussels is still in the running for as host). So we chose Tour of Flanders center which simply breathes cycling and also totally fits in our concept. With showers, changing rooms, a cafe and so much more, we just couldn't sit better.

Live commentary

So will Niko De Muyter, the speaker with years of experience in the 6-day Ghent, spring classics and cyclocross races, will provide our event with commentary, the participants will also be provided with a personal number and the race will also be streamed live on various social channels. The various major smart trainer brands have also confirmed their participation and will have their personal technicians present.

Classification according to levels

36 riders in total will participate, they are classified in level in A, B or C category and were selected from hundreds of Belgian participants who competed all winter for a place in these LIVE finals. Per 12 (each category counts 12 finalists) they will compete respectively in a flat race with intermediate sprints, a climbing race and a hilly TT to determine who is the best all-round E-racer in Belgium.

The correct timing will be communicated as soon as possible. These events usually take place between 9 am and 6 pm! Of course we also invite you without obligation to the Zwift after party at 6 pm where we will offer you plenty of snacks and drinks.

World champions

The follow-up of our current top riders on wheels is assured. Especially when it depends on Remco Evenepoel (18), Bjorg Lambrecht (21) and Laurens De Plus (23). Together they are good for 4 (!) Medals at the World Championships in Innsbruck 2018. Op Thursday, November 15 may we, together with Cycling Story, receive these three young champions in the Tour of Flanders center.

Things are going fast for ex-footballer Remco Evenepoel. Fresh Flandrien at the juniors. Who else? He won more than 3/4 of the races where he started. He won almost everything there was to win in his category. As an 18-year-old top talent, he will start next season as a neo-pro at Deceuninck-Quickstep.

Bjorg Lambrecht is known as a purebred climber. He already had a taste of the professional life in cycling at Lotto-Soudal last season. He took silver in the road race at the promises in Innsbruck, but also showed a glimpse of his climbing abilities in the Tour of Switzerland with the pros.

Laurens De Plus can hold its own both uphill and in a time trial. He was there when Greg Van Avermaet became Olympic champion in Rio (2016) and became world champion himself in the team time trial with Quickstep Floors in Innsbruck (2018) this year.

We are convinced that these men can explain it as well as they can cycle, so that promises ...
