What are the opening hours of the Tour of Flanders Centre?

The Tour of Flanders Centre is open everyday from 10 am until 6 pm.

Is Tour of Flanders Centre open on Sundays/Holidays?

With exception of 25th Decembre and New year’s day is the tour of Flanders Centre open on everyday.

We are even open on the holidays below :

  • Easter Monday (13/04)
  • Labor Day (01/05)
  • Ascension Day (21/05)
  • Whit Monday (01/06)
  • Belgian National day (21/07)
  • The Assumption (15/08)
  • All Saints Day (01/11)
  • Armistice Day (11/11)

Is Tour of Flanders Centre accessible for disabled persons?

Is the Tour of Flanders Centre accessible for disabled persons?

Yes, all public places in the Tour of Flanders Centre are accessible for disabled persons. There is an elevator provided for those who need. There is also one wheelchair available. Please give us a sign at info@crvv.be if you want to use it. There are several parking places available for disabled persons at the Minderbroedersplein (map). On the ground floor there is an adapted toilet.

How can we reach Tour of Flanders Centre?

How can we reach the Tour of Flanders Centre?

The Tour of Flanders Centre is situated in the city centre of Oudenaarde (Flemish Ardennes/ East-Flanders). The address is Markt 43, 9700 Oudenaarde. We will give you an overview of the different possibilities to reach the Tour of Flanders Centre.

  • Bike

The city hall is situated at walking distance from The Tour of Flanders Centre. The cycling centre has bike parking and is a hotspot in the biking network at the Flemish Ardennes.

  • Train

Railway station: Oudenaarde

The easiest way to reach the centre is by passing the ‘Stationstraat’, going straight until the Tacambaroplein and finally going in the direction of the Hoogstraat or Neerstraat to reach the market place of Oudenaarde.

  • Bus

  • Bus (groups)

Groups can get off the bus at the entrance of the Tour of Flanders. Afterwards, the bus can park in one of the appropriate bus parkings.

  • Dial-a-bus

For the reservation of a dial-a-bus, you can call +32 9 210 94 94 or via the website.

  • Autocar (groepen)

Groepen mogen uitstappen aan de ingang van het Centrum Ronde van Vlaanderen. De autocar kan daarna parkeren op de daarvoor voorziene parking op de Ham, in de nabijheid van het stadscentrum.

  • Auto

Vanuit Brussel:

Neem de E40 en de A10 richting kust. Neem de afslag Zwijnaarde en voeg in op de A14/E17 richting Kortrijk. Neem afslag 8-De Pinte naar N 60 richting Oudenaarde/Nazareth. Sla rechtsaf bij N60/Nieuwe Steenweg. Ga verder op de N60. Neem de afslag N453 richting Avelgem/Petegem/Kortrijk/Oudenaarde. Sla linksaf bij de Minderbroederstraat/N453 en volg tot aan de rotonde. Ga rechtdoor aan de rotonde. 

Vanuit Gent:

Neem de E17 richting Kortrijk. Neem afslag 8-De pinte naar N60 richting Oudenaarde/Nazareth. Sla rechtsaf bij N60/Nieuwe Steenweg. Ga verder op de N60. Neem de afslag N453 richting Avelgem/Petegem/Kortrijk/Oudenaarde. Sla linksaf bij de Minderbroederstraat/N453. Ga rechtdoor aan de rotonde.

Vanuit Kortrijk:

Neem de A14/E17 richting Kortrijk-Oost/Gent/R8. Neem afslag 6-Kruishoutem richting N459. Ga rechtdoor over één rotonde. Sla rechtsaf en voeg in op de N60. Neem de afslag N453 richting Avelgem/Petegem/Kortrijk/Oudenaarde. Sla linksaf bij de Minderbroedersstraat/N453. Ga rechtdoor aan de rotonde.

  • Boot

Net buiten het stadscentrum van Oudenaarde, tussen de sluis en de ophaalbrug, is de passantenhaven gelegen. De aanlegsteiger heeft een lengte van 350 meter. De aanlegsteiger is ook bereikbaar voor mindervaliden.

Are pets allowed?

Are we allowed to bring our pets to Tour of Flanders Centre or Peloton Café?

Due to hygienic reasons, pets aren’t allowed. We ask our customers if they bring pets to hold them on a leash outside.

EXCEPTION:  we make an exception for assistance dogs accompanying the blind and partially sighted people.

Can I enter the Rondeshop without entrance ticket for the exhibition?

Can I enter the Rondeshop without an exhibition ticket?   

Of course! The Tour of Flanders Centre-team will stand by you if you might have some questions about the products in the Rondeshop.

Can I purchase online? 

Yes, you can make an order online via our webshop.

Can I receive more info about the cycling loops?

Can I receive more info about the cycling loops?

At our info desk you can purchase or consult these bike maps:

  • Biking network Flemish Ardennes
  • Map with bike loops (blue, yelllow, red), which represent a part of  the Tour of Flanders.
  • GPX-files of the different loops above and our partner loops can be consulted on our website

Thanks to the Ride Like a Pro  package you can compose your own active Tour of Flanders experience. You can rent a carbon (Specialized, Ridley) or aluminum bike (Trek) for one or more days. Thereby you can choose your extra components like GPS, helmet, shoes and pedals. Besides you can also enjoy a shower after your epic bike experience for only €2 /person.

Can I bring my bike and install them safely inside?

Can I bring my bike and install them safely inside?

Yes of course. There are four suspension systems at the entrance of Tour of Flanders Centre, but also our yellow wall at the desk and the nadars can be used to put your bike. Our staff will make sure there is some social control, but will not be responsible for theft or other incidents. If you have a bicycle lock, we recommend you to use it.

What can we visit during the exhibition?

How much does an entrance ticket cost?

What are the prices of an exhibition ticket? See below a preview: 

  • Adult: 12 euros (incl. virtual reality)
  • Student: 6 euros (show student card)
  • Kids < 6 years: free
  • Group (from 15 persons): 7,50 euros

Buy an individual ticket for the exhibition and receive some extra advantages:

How long does a visit at the exhibition last?

How long does a visit at the exhibition last?

Our exhibition keeps an average visitor busy for about 1h 1h15min. It depends on the fact that you do the virtual reality experience or not.

Until when can I buy an entrance ticket for the exhibition?

Since a visit takes 1h of your time, we recommend you to buy it at last at 5pm.

Can I make a reservation for a guided tour at the exhibition?

Can I make a reservation for a guided tour at the exhibition? 

Yes, there are several possibilities. You can choose between our own city guides (75 euro VAT excluded), but also some cycling figures out of the peloton: Nico Mattan, Freddy Maertens, Johan Museeuw, Eric Leman, etc.

Is it possible to have a guided tour in the evening?

Is it possible to have a guided tour in the evening?

You can make a reservation for a guided tour in the evening. One difference: we will charge an extra fee (35 euros an hour) for permanence after 6 pm.

Of course a guided tour is on application by phone call or mail.

How can I rent a bike?

How can I rent a bike with Ride like a Pro

You can do it in 4 steps:

  1. Choose your bike and accessories.
  2. Choose your rental period (start and end date).
  3. Check our general terms (insurance policy among other things) and choose between insurance (Cycling Vlaanderen) or waiver of recourse against physical damage and material damage. In case of the latter, you will have to sign a document where you agree with the document “Waiver of liability”.
  4. Payment: via Paypal or Bancontact.

After these 4 steps, you receive an confirmation e-mail with all the order details.

Can I get insured?

Can I get an insurance?

Correct, we work together with Cycling Vlaanderen and you can have insurance for physical accidents and roadside assistance. It will cost you 30 euros a year.

Can I choose to be not insured?

Can I choose to be not insured?

Yes, but you will  have to sign a document thats says “waiver of liability” which means that you as a renter can’t blame us (Tour of Flanders Centre), nor can you put any kind of responsibility for accidental accidents even if the accident is caused by using the bike. For more info check: Article 6 of the general terms of the bike rental agreement.

Which extra components can I rent?

Which extra components can I rent?

It is possible to rent a helmut (Lazer), Shoes (Shimano), Pedals (SPD-SL) and a GPS. The first three are combined in one package.

  • Helmut, shoes & pedals:

1 day: 10 euro

2 days: 15 euro

2 days: + 5 euro/day

  • GPS (Wahoo)

1 day: 10 euro

2 days: 15 euro

> 2 days: + 5 euro/day

What is MICE?

MICE is an abbreviation and stands for Meetings, Incentives , Conventions and Exhibitions. We provide our rooms for several kinds of business activities and try to reach as close as we can to your needs.

Yes, you can. We provide 2 room that are named to very famous hills in the Flemish Ardennes.

Let us present you the Paterberg room (74m²) and the Kwaremont room (225 m²).

Yes, ofcourse. You can make a reservation for a guided tour ride by mail or phone. You can have more info here where you can choose between one of our own bike guides or Johan Museeuw who won the Tour of Flanders three times.

Of course. Our colleagues of the Peloton Café will be glad to guide through the different possibilities of the catering service.  For those questions please contact the Peloton Café.
